As if there wasn’t enough hype today with a total solar eclipse causing a moment without light across parts of the United States, Bungie reminded us that a world without light is still coming. A new cinematic trailer for Destiny 2 is out now. The opening is bone-chilling as you hear those first words followed by a view of the Speaker restrained with hands shackled high and head hanging low as Ghaul says “Do you see all that I have done”.

You see the despair of the Vanguard turning to sheer will to fight back as they proclaim “If the Red Legion wants war, give them war! Of course, it wouldn’t be a Destiny 2 trailer without everyone’s favorite Hunter, Cayde-6 offering a few quips.
