Eyes up Guardians! More details have been released by Bungie pertaining to the first DLC expansion of Destiny 2 called Curse of Osiris. This news was released this afternoon and took some time to gather all the details not released yesterday when the teaser trailer released at Sony's Paris Game Week. Those new details start with the exciting news of voice actress Morena Baccarin ( from firefly) will voice Sagira who is the ghost of Osiris himself before being separated from him, and be the first time in Destiny history where we talk to another Guardians ghost in the game. Sagira will be guiding us through Curse of Osiris and brother Vance from Destiny 1 will be returning as an NPC in the DLC. The social space the Lighthouse which in Destiny 1 was reserved for only Guardians obtaining a flawless trials passage will be opened to everyone in the DLC. As far as news on the story, Vance and Ikora Rey will help guide your Guardian through the Infinite Forest "a simulated reality in the middle of time, controlled by the Vex" which is Mercury's new patrol zone.
Level Cap
Not being the only details revealed today, Curse of Osiris will raise the level cap to 25 and a power cap from 300 to 330. Noting that Mods still add 5 levels above the max would potentially be 335 from 305 currently. Coming to PlayStation only is a new PvP map called Wormhaven, which is a PlayStation exclusive multiplayer map and the only PlayStation exclusive mentioned so far coming with the DLC. Moving far from that sore subject, as previously released yesterday the Curse of Osiris DLC will release on December 5th of this year and the DLC will add "a new quest, new missions, new strikes, new adventures, and the new raid activity". Bungie will be hosting some streams on Twitch to shoe more of the Curse of Osiris DLC during the month of November, so keep your eyes peeled.
