Our community has many talented and skilled Guardians in it, some of those Guardians are artists. Each week we at DTR (Destiny Tracker) will showcase some works of art created by one of our very talented artists in the Destiny community and get to know alittle about them. This week, our spotlight goes out to a Guardian that first started to discover her passion for creating art back in first grade when a friends mother would come to the school she attended to show her own art to inspire all the children " I would come to her house to paint and have fun learning. But for actually doing and getting into fanart itself, I'd say around 8th to 9th grade was when I really got into drawing art the way I do now". ALTartSTUDIOS began her journey playing Destiny during the Dark Below expansion after her and her father saw a commercial for it one night. ALTartSTUDIOS had this to add about discovering Destiny " My dad and I saw it and we were hyped by the graphics and gameplay we had to get it. That's when I started being a part of the Destiny community as a random gaming artist chick. After seeing all the art in-game and being inspired by it". Asking ALTartSTUDIOS what class of Guardian she mains in Destiny she replied saying " I main warlock since I am really into mystical characters and since I loved playing as a cleric and wizard in D&D, the warlock class caught my attention. I still love playing as a warlock till this day". ALTartSTUDIOS is one of the younger artists in the community, still growing her passion and creativity as she learns more each day as she interacts with the other amazing artists in the community. Asking ALTartSTUDIOS who or what inspired her to begin creating Destiny fan art to share with the community her reply was nothing short of on a relatable level for so many in the community " My dad influenced me to start making Destiny art after he wanted me to make his titan and a warlock as a portrait. After that, people such as Kob1, and Jennwhale and many other amazing artists kept inspiring me to do Destiny art and to keep on going at it. Also the whole Art of The Traveler group and DCA inspired me to draw Destiny even to today. Also, half my teacher friends in HS inspired me since most known someone that played Destiny. The community itself as a whole inspired me and I wish to return the favor". The family bond ALTartSTUDIOS shares with her father and brother is that of "a family that plays together stays together" as all three of them share a single Destiny account each having their own Guardians, " I believe my dad and I loving Destiny and helping each other out creates a bond between father and daughter with similar interests. We have a blast playing and we do competitions for who ranks up 1st and who gets whatever exotic first. It can be both competitive and fun".

ALTartSTUDIOS is a very talented artist in the community her use of bold lines and addition of color make everyone's eye's dance around each of her creations. Asking what her favorite medium of choice is when she is creating a piece, she replied saying " I use several mediums. But for my favorite, I would love to go with ink and marker since I had the most learning from them. Cool how you can express such detail and action in only black. Being so talented with the mediums she works with most I was curious to ask her at the same time what medium would she like to try in the future, she replied saying excitedly " I always wanted to try digital as a medium, and if not that, acrylics. I've only done around 3 projects with acrylics in High School. But once I figure it out more, I would love to really get into digital for its more pigmented art pieces, since many other Destiny community artists work with digital pieces that really amaze me. Ha! I might try both for one big piece someday. Acrylic and digital". ALTartSTUDIOS is so driven with her love for art and shows her incredible talent at an early age with creating some of her more known to the community pieces in high school, she truly is an inspiration your never to young or to old to create something incredible for others to enjoy. Being a younger members of the community, I asked ALTartSTUDIOS how has her engagements and conversations in the community helped her grow as an artist?. ALTartSTUDIOS replied " The engagements in the community as a whole taught me many valuable lessons as of being an artist. It taught me to draw what I want to draw and to not have others control how you art. It also taught me to keep drawing no matter how negative some people can be towards me. All the engagement in the Destiny community has got me to improve as an artist as well and get along with many other artists and make new friends that love the game as much as I do. This whole community, my friends, and my family have helped me tremendously in becoming a better artist mentally and physically". The reply ALTartSTUDIOS encompassed the positive and supportive nature the Destiny community , friends, and ones family has with giving the positive reinforcement one needs to not feel pressured by others. Growing with what ever drives ones passion, the support of others will always help that passion grow to something incredible that will make a lasting impression on many. Younger members of our community are our future designers, creators and future mentors of the next generation, the support a younger member receives now will pay forward to the future dreamers of our time.

It was a tremendous honor to have ALTartSTUDIOS as this weeks Community Artist Spotlight. She is truly talented and has such amazing drive for her passion for art. With support from her family whether it be leveling a character in game or helping her grow as an artist as well from the community they are all apart of, we all look forward to what she creates next. Asking ALTartSTUDIOS what her favorite part of the Destiny Community is she replied saying " My favorite part of being in the community is of bringing smiles to other people's faces as I believe many can become a great artist as long as they put forth hard work to it and never stop believing in themselves. My favorite part is all the wonderful support everyone give to eachother in the community. It makes the community feel like one big family and thus I feel safe in it and comfortable as a part of the community as a whole. Without one another supporting eachother with such kindness and respect, the community would not be as wonderful as it is now. So, I feel happy being a part of such a great community". As many Artists and members of the community enjoy listening to music or tuning into someones stream on Twitch I asked ALTartSTUDIOS what she prefers to listen to while she is creating a piece, she responded excitedly saying " Haha, Where do I begin... I listen to a variety of music but what I mostly listen to most when it comes to art is the Destiny and Destiny 2 OST , Two Steps From Hell, and some other OSTs from my favorite movies such as Transformers and Edge of Tomorrow. I believe that to bring more emotion in my pieces, I listen to a song or two based on that emotion. That is what my HS art teacher taught and I will follow that tip. For streams, I tune into any I can watch. But mainly, I tune into Kob1's twitch, Plain Ben's, Rasputin Radio, and many others that's is and is not in the DCA community". We are truly fortunate to have ALTartSTUDIOS in our community with us as she is a avid community supporter herself and has epic taste in creative tunes, we all will get to watch her and many other artists in the community grow bringing something incredibly special to the community for all to enjoy with their art. Lastly I asked who she would like to do a future collaboration piece with in the community, and also what advice she herself would give to someone in the community starting out creating destiny themed art that never created before?. She replied saying " For collabs, I would be honored to do one with the man who got me this far in art with his awesome tips and advice (Kob1). Would be cool if we worked one out. Also, I would love to do one with some of my Instagram friends that also draw Destiny art (boompus111, birdninjaart, trophykingart, the_tank100, varcoedraws, and many others). I really enjoy doing collabs and I think they are really fun to do. For advice, I'd say to keep doing what you love and to never give up your desire to draw what you like, no matter how rude people can be. I've been through a few things with others being of harsh, so I would just move on and keep drawing. I would also say that if they want to improve, it doesn't hurt to ask a friend or someone in the community that is an artist for some helpful advice. Hold your head up, guardian, and never give up your desire to draw". You can find ALTartSTUDIOS at her social medias at Twitter.com/adriana_tingue, Instagram.com/altartstudios, and at altartstudios.deviantart.com. It was a honor to Spotlight such a wonder member of the community, with a special thank you to a fellow Titan ALTartSTUDIOS father, thank you. As always, til next time Thank you for reading.
